Happy 2011 to our amazing Tiber team and our awesome customers! WOW, what a year it was! Last night we enjoyed our annual Tiber holiday celebration at Wasabi Sabi and the overall feeling for me was how proud and grateful I am for the amazing people we have working with us. I get teary thinking about it because without their dedication and belief in the kind of business Adriana and I are trying to create, we would simply not succeed! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of you and our wonderful customers who continue to support us. Adriana and I are two very lucky ladies!
We played a fun gift exchange game last night and I found it interesting how the gifts somehow chose the people they needed to get to. I have a number of resolutions this year and three of them are:
1. learn how to medidate and live more in the moment
2. ask others for help
3. simplify all areas of my life so that I can focus on what is most important.
My gift last night was the book "Simplify Your Life - 100 ways to slow down and enjoy the things that really matter". A little love tap from the universe. Thank you Jodie for choosing this book. I also purchased the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle as a little Christmas gift to myself. I am sure these two books will whip me into shape!
PLEASE SHARE WITH US WHAT YOU HOPE TO CHANGE IN 2011 AND HOW YOU PLAN TO CREATE YOUR BEST LIFE. YOU HAVE UNTIL JANUARY 18 TO LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A DELICIOUS TIBER-RIFFIC PEDICURE!
I am heading on vacation today to enjoy some much needed family time. I look forward to returning with a clear head and renewed energy to work on the MANY projects that Adriana and I are working on this quarter. It is going to be an exciting year, woohoo!
Wishing you all the very best!
Sounds like it was a wonderful celebration. Congratulations to the entire Tiber River team on a great 2010!
In 2011, I'm looking forward to bringing lots of energy to everything that I do. I'll do this by focusing on the basics - getting enough sleep, going for my regular runs, eating well, having fun with my family. It's going to be a great year!

I want to do something big for my community so I'm committing to putting on an Earth Day event at our local community centre. Maybe Tiber River can help someway since your philosophy includes being kind to the earth.
Thanks for all the wonderful products, the always welcoming and friendly staff and your awesome hours of operation!

I love it when companies get together and have fun...enjoying each other's company, and celebrating that they are together!
My goals for this year are to be kinder and gentler to the people around me, to keep life simpler to be able to enjoy the moments I am in, and to be more aware of the sacred in life.

My goal this year is to really take the time to be present. I'm pregnant for my third and last time. I want to take the time to enjoy this pregnancy and this baby when they come. I want to really be with my other two little guys so that I can know them that much better and they can know me. So I can remember exactly how they are right now in 2011.

I am soo excited about 2011. About six weeks ago, after almost nine years of trying to bring additional children into our family via adoption, my husband, six-year-old son, and I received a referral for two beautiful, Ethiopian-born children: a five-year-old boy and his three-year-old sister. Over the holidays we learned that we have been assigned a court date in Ethiopia (to legalize the adoption) so we will be traveling there in early February to attend court. If all goes well, and immigration procedures run smoothly, we will finally bring closure to our family by bringing these two precious children home...sometime this spring, we hope. 2011 promises to be the year of fulfilled dreams in our household...thus, my plans and goals for 2011 revolve around bringing closure to our family and finally starting the next chapter of our lives.
Blessings to all!

This year, along the same lines as others, I want to keep life simple and not get lost in the hecticness that has become the norm. I have a one year old son and am due in the summer with #2. I want to focus on keeping the clutter in my home under control and ensuring my family eats real food, and not just convenience food that is handy.

My life is pretty good. I stop sometimes to realize how lucky I am right at this moment. For 2011, I want to continue appreciating what I have and try not to let the small stuff bother me.
