The holiday season is a very busy time at Tiber River and we apologize for neglecting our blog, especially when we have so much to say!
I am always proud of our team, but the last couple of weeks I have been oozing with pride. Our team is what makes Tiber River extra special and I am incredibly grateful for each and every person's contribution. It is a very busy season and everyone has been pitching in to make it all happen. Our Tiber team cares so much about our customers, each other, and the company. How did Adriana and I manage to create this and get so lucky to gather such an amazing group of people (women)?!
I am taking an hour this morning to submit our application for the Manitoba Chamber Spirit Awards. We were asked to submit a couple of weeks ago and I dismissed it because there simply was not enough time to devote to it. However, they have extended the deadline to tomorrow and I feel that this is something our team deserves to win. Our business truly has it's own heartbeat and a very big heart!
A big thank you goes out to Brenna who offered to be Santa at our annual Holiday Open House and to Shayla Vokey of Shayla Vokey Photography for taking the great photos. I will emailing those out later on today.
I am also bursting with pride looking at the donations our team has gathered for our Christmas Cheer Board Hampers. We are supporting a single mom with 5 kids and a family of 5. A big thank you to everyone for their generosity and to our amazing customers who have also been contributing food items and monetary donations. Wow, 'tis the spirit of the season! Thank you to Jodie for organizing this for us.
