Yesterday a customer passed on a great tip for how she uses one of her Tiber products. It gave me a great idea to start a Tiber Tips tab. If anyone has a neat way that they use any Tiber product, email it to me and we'll post them here for now and hopefully on our website shortly.
Her tip was regarding the room and body spray. Her towel rack is directly above a heating vent. She sprays the bottom of her towels with her spray and every time the furnace kicks in, her rooms are filled with wonderful Tiber goodness. Very clever indeed! Thanks for the tip, Judi!!
My mom's favorite thing to do with her soap, other than use it ;0), is to cut a piece off and put it in her car. It keeps her car smelling heavenly.
When I was pregnant with Lucas, I got a wart on my foot (never walk around city pools without flip flops!) that I was hesitant to treat with chemicals because I wasn't sure what would pass through my system to my babe. So, I left it and dealt with it once I finished breastfeeding. Of course, at that point it was nice and comfy where it was and didn't want to go anywhere. I tried every over the counter remedy available both in Canada and the States. I used duct tape, aspirin, tea tree oil and even went once a week for three months to my doctors to have it frozen. Nothing helped. After a few years of trying to get rid of it my doctor suggested cutting it out. I am a chicken and the thought of that scared the liver out of me. I was desperate to do something and my mom even tried to buy it from me - you know, so I'll think I've sold it and it will leave on it's own. Didn't work.
I had booked the removal for a few months away but was trying everything I could in hopes that I didn't have to get it cut out. I had a bar of our SOS soap at home and thought I'd use that, not thinking it would help but just that it couldn't hurt. After a month of daily washings with the SOS soap, it was noticeably smaller and it was gone completely on another month. I couldn't believe it. After two and a half years of work, it was gone. I have since used the soap on my two eldest kids - seems they keep forgetting those flip flops! So, my tip is, if you have a wart, try a bar of our SOS soap. It might save you a lot of headaches (or footaches).
I use our soap samples in my lingerie drawer to make it smell pretty and I use the deodorant in my boots to soak up the sweat and keep them from smelling rotten!
