I am really getting into the groove of winter and loving it! The Holiday Season is my favorite time of year and it is so precious seeing it through the eyes of my children. The other night we decorated a gingerbread house and placed it on the mantle for display. My three year old is very concerned that no one can see it so I promised her I would post a picture of it on our blog this weekend and she was squealing with delight.
Sadly, I missed a Fun Friday post last week so I am going to do a double throw-down to our readers today.
#1 Please share with us the most thoughtful gift or gesture you are gifting to others this Holiday season.
#2 Any cool crafts or homemade items you are working on for a Holiday project this year?
We will be giving away a Sugar Cookie Manicure so you can have perfect nails for your holiday parties and a Candy Cane Shower Shake, which is my favorite product this year! That is definitely worth leaving a comment and letting us know you're here.
We hope to see you tomorrow picking up some Men's products in support of Movember. We are donating 15% of all sales to Prostate Cancer Canada.
Enjoy the day!
Candy cane shower shake! yes please.
Cool crafts and thoughtful gesture go together for me. My children and I handmade each Christmas card we will sned out (50!). We also write a personal message in each and hand address the envelopes. It's a big production but so much fun.

This year we are going to make a hamper for a family through the Christmas Cheer Board. I have requested a family with kids the same age and gender as my 'tweens' just to strengthen the connection, and we are going to shop for the food and gifts together and then deliver the hamper together. We also have new neighbours, and will continue the tradition of slipping a box of chocolates in their mail box on New Years eve as we did with our old neighbours.

This year I am giving the gift of time to my sister in law who had twins 3 months ago and already has 2 boys at home. I am dedicating myself to go over at least once a week to help clean or cook and to drop off at least 2 meals a week to help her out.
For gifts this year many of my friends/relatives will be receiving a tin filled with homemade vegan baking that I will start working on next week. So I am gathering all of my recipes together this week.
The gifts for our nephews will include Living Gifts from Ten Thousand Villages which helps villages by buying them goats, bags of corn or donations towards education.

I'm making homemade candles as gifts for my friends. I'm doing two scents, cinammon and pine! I'll be going to Dollarama to get some cool holders. I'm excited to get started and I think they'll turn out great!
