As promised, I got my nails redone last week and here is a picture for you. It's been one week and I am still loving them. I've gotten so many compliments on them that I'm starting to think I can never have plain nails again (or maybe its just that people aren't used to seeing me with nicely done-up nails). Here is a picture of them today - one week in. This color is called Charcoal and we only have it at Academy for the moment. It may be difficult to see here but its a beautiful grey-ey blue color. Stunning!
Ok, no more nails, I promise! Today and for the rest of the next two weeks, I will be deep into our business plans. I have to write two for the two separate parts of our business - manufacturing and retail. I love writing business plans because it gives me a chance to plan - do think about all the things that are important for our business and put a plan around attaining them. I've gotten the manufacturing one almost done and the retail one will follow shortly. Funny how writing and thinking really get my juices flowing - love it! It motivates me to get things done and new projects started.
So my new nails are getting quite the keyboard workout and they are holding up beautifully. AND, the best part about getting my nails redone is the paraffin treatment that comes along with the polish removal!! Having never had the polish removed before, I was overjoyed to get a nice, toasty paraffin for my freezing cold fingers. What a treat!
Enjoy the weekend!
