Happy Canada Day! I hope everyone is taking advantage of this beautiful day and doing something FUN to celebrate. Please share your Canada Day festivities with us because there will be a draw for some Tiber good-ness - the winner will be announced on Monday. We are off to celebrate with some friends at a pool party followed by watching fireworks with some neighbours at our favorite spot in Bruce Park. Thank you Canada!

Because Canada Day followed the last day of school, the kids slept in. OK, we all did. As tradition dictates, we were at the Forks for a couple of hours after lunch to take in the festivities. What a great place to 'people watch'. We decorated the yard with the Canadian flags we were given, had a family BBQ, a rousing game of Monopoly City (I was the hands down winner!) and then, since one of the group didn't want to go, just the guys went to watch the fireworks. Happy Birthday Canada! How thankful I am that this is where my ancestors landed.
